CLOTA Casts SpringProduction

Kicking off CLOTA's 2008 season is CAHOOTS, an outrageous comedy by Rick Johnson. A rollercoaster of humor and shock, Cahoots brings us into the complete chaos that erupts when four friends get together for dinner. The fearless leader of this production is none other than director Robin Moen, a longtime member of the CLOTA family. In the assistant director position is fellow CLOTA veteran Stacey Shoaf. Michelle Perez, most recently seen in last year's Incorruptible, is also assistant directing and working as the production assistant. A phenomenal cast is lined up to light up the stage this April. New to the CLOTA stage, but no stranger to theater, is Kathleen Nicole, who will be playing the roll of Jan Miller, a commercial actress. Kathleen has participated in many Cerro Coso shows, including The Laramie Project and the upcoming performance of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. Playing Jan's best friend Lois Shields, a successful book editor, is another dedicated CLOTA member, Carrie Trickey. Carrie has been a part of countless productions, both on stage and behind the scenes, and will be directing this spring's I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. Architect Ken Miller, Jan's husband, will be played by Matt Trickey, Who has been a CLOTA techie for many years. Neurotic advertiser Al Shields, married to Lois, will be played by Chad Terry. Also new to CLOTA, Chad comes from a Cerro Coso background, having played in Seussical, The Laramie Project, and the upcoming The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. Bringing to life the oh-so-devious security guard Allen Grant is Joshua Haefele. Josh brings an impressive theatrical resume to the production, including parts in Coso's The Rhimers of Eldrich, Narnia, Wanda's Visit, and CLOTA's Incorruptible and Arcadia. Rounding out the "New-to-CLOTA" group is Thomas Cozine. Thomas is understudy, the doorman's voice, as well as stage crew. As any fan of theater knows, even the most talented cast can't get far without a crew. Making the play possible by facilitating some of the technical aspects are Stage Manager Becki Cornett, Technical Director/Set Designer Josh Haefele, Lighting Designer Josh Horton, Sound Designer Justin Olsen, Costume Designer Judy Ditzler, Scenic Artist Dorothy Saitz, and a vast number of greatly appreciated volunteers. Be sure to come and support CLOTA's returning stars and welcome our new friends, and see a fantastic show in the process! Evening performances are April 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th at 7:30 in the evening, and an April 13th 2:00 matinee. Tickets are $8 special on opening night and the matinee, $12 general admission and $10 for students, seniors, enlisted military and CLOTA members. /p>
